FORD KA
A small city car that is as versatile and practical as it is stylish, the appeal of the new Ford Ka is almost universal to any driver who wants an agile and cost-effective compact car. The second-generation Ka has improved on many aspects of the original 1996 model, itself a ground-breaking design that strongly influenced small city cars over the next decade.
The chunkier shape of the bodywork, redesigned in-line with Ford’s new Kinetic Design philosophy, results in a more dynamic, assertive appearance. This new look is matched inside by bold colours and two-tone upholstery. The car can be extensively personalised with details (chrome trims on the outer bodywork, for instance, or colourful seat designs) that give every model a distinctive appearance.
Although its appearance may be slightly bolder, the joy of driving the car has not been compromised. Indeed, it has been improved with the addition of electric power-assist steering, Hill Start Assist and a brand-new suspension. Drivers also now have the choice between the 1.25-litre Duratec petrol engine and the 1.3-litre Duratorq TDCi turbodiesel.
