The new Amarok is defined by powerful contours in a completely revised Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles design. A slightly wider wheelbase provides a higher slope angle for improved off-road capability, and there is also a more rugged emphasis in the stance than in the predecessor.

The new Amarok PanAmericana

Those who opt for the new Amarok PanAmericana get the entire off-road package, from the black powder-coated styling bar and steps to the colour-contrasting exterior mirrors, bumpers and door handles.

The new Amarok PanAmericana is uncompromising, just like its all-terrain tyres on 18" light-alloy wheels, which are exclusive to the Amarok PanAmericana in all black. Its powerful exterior is matched by high-quality comfort on the inside, with the leather seat upholstery, the navigation system with a 12" touchscreen and the Harman Kardon premium sound system, all of which deliver an exclusive driving experience.

The new Amarok Aventura

The power you need with the elegance you want - that's the Amarok Aventura. A vehicle that combines the pickup and premium worlds, with large 20" alloy wheels, steps with chrome inlays, chrome exterior mirrors and door handles, and a rear bumper with chrome inlays.

Driving the Amarok Aventura means premium driving. The headliner in Ebony Black provides an outstanding contrast to the ambient lighting, while the premium Harman Kardon sound system impresses with brilliant sounds, no matter if you are driving in an urban environment, on the highway or off-road. Modern driver assistance systems such as the Intelligent Speed Assist in conjunction with ACC automatic distance control and traffic sign recognition or the "Park Assist Plus" technlogy complete the overall concept.

This is Off-road

What makes the new Amarok a real thoroughbred off-roader? It offers the latest technology and more ride comfort than its predecessor, such as state-of-the-art airbags and assistance systems.

With a range of body, chassis, engine or transmission variants, modified dimensions and the significantly greater fording depth, everything is designed for off-road capability.

Longer wheelbase

The new Amarok is 5,350mm long - 96mm longer than its predecessor. A wheelbase of 3,270mm corresponds to an increase of 173mm - which means there is more space in the crew cab. Since the wheelbase grows more than its overall length, the body overhangs are reduced. This adds to an increased slope angle and a better off-road capability.

An adaptable transmission

The new Amarok has the right answer for almost every driving situation. It also has the right transmission for almost every drive preference: from rear-wheel drive to selectable and permanent all-wheel drive. Three different diesels with four to six cylinders and 2.0 to 3.0 litres of displacement ensure the right strength development.

More driving modes, more driving comfort

The preconfigured driving modes are new and come in many variations to support drivers in special off-road situations in several stages. More than 30 assistance systems, over 20 of which are completely new on-board the Amarok, provide additional driving comfort on request.

Fording depth of 800mm

Thanks to an 800mm fording depth – 300mm more than its predecessor - off-road fans can now immerse themselves even more fully in the world of off-road capability.

Master of versatility – the new Amarok

Reliability and versatility for almost any business? The new Amarok has it in its genes and is proud to show it, with the "AMAROK" lettering embossed across the entire width of the loadbay flap. With a broad variety of new features, it is more usable every day, making it a versatile and reliable commercial vehicle.

Assistance systems and mobile online devices

The new Amarok comes with more than 30 assistance systems, over 20 of which are completely new. Also on board are the mobile online services that make everyday life easier in many ways.

For example, online voice control in the "We Connect Basic" package. With the "VW Connect Navigation" package, you get additional mobile online services - including navigation maps that can be updated online, current traffic information for Europe and access to certain points of interest.
