Crafter Dropside at Anthony Motors
The Volkswagen Crafter Dropside is ready for the toughest jobs. Whatever you need to deliver or haul away, this specially designed conversion is available in two wheelbases and two cab sizes to suit your needs. With a loading surface up to 9.6m3 and a payload capacity up to 1,314kg, no job will be beyond you and your crew. The 21mm thick floor and standard, hot-dip galvanised ladder holder ensure you can carry all your kit securely. Engineered to go on and on, the Crafter Dropside is powered by a 140PS 2.0 TDI engine with your choice of a manual or 8-speed auto transmission.
Design
The Crafter Dropside was specially designed with Ingimex, the conversion specialists, to create the most robust dropside on the road. The birch deck has a 15mm thick resin coating and the boards and locks have been tested to a burst load of 1.7 tonnes.
Drive
It drives just like the regular Crafter panel van. It’s comfortable and manoeuvrable with front or rear-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive models offer better traction while front-wheel drive models have the highest load capacity.
Practicality
Choose a medium or long wheelbase to suit your needs. At 6,204mm long, the medium wheelbase single cab offers you up to 3,500mm of load length, while the long wheelbase single cab offers you up to 4,300mm of load length.
Living with it
Bluetooth and USB come as standard to keep you connected. Hill Hold Control is also standard to make hill starts easy. Add the optional Discover Media navigation system to bag yourself European maps and App-Connect for seamless smartphone integration.
