Crafter Tipper at Anthony Motors
Designed in collaboration with VW partner Ingimex, the Volkswagen Crafter Tipper is the ultimate transportation vehicle for aggregate and other bulk materials.
It’s available in a single or double cab configuration with seating for 3 to 6 people. You control the tipper via wander lead and the high-strength steel platform has a 772 - 1,081kg payload capacity. Both side panels drop for bulk loading and there’s a steel bulkhead to protect occupants from load movement in transit.
Because it’s built to the latest European standards, the Crafter Tipper comes as standard with Front Assist with City Emergency Braking and Automatic Post-Collison Braking to keep you safer on the job. You can add a tow bar with or without electrics, cruise control, lane assist and side wind assist. Composition audio with Bluetooth comes as standard or you can upgrade to a 6.5” touchscreen with App-Connect.
Design
Workers love the Crafter Tipper because it’s tough, capable and built to last. The steel tipper and reinforced platform are a treat to use, with maintenance-free pivot bearings and a high-performance direct acting 5 stage under floor ram.
Drive
The Crafter Tipper is powered by a 2.0 TDI Euro 6D engine with up to 140PS. You can specify a manual or automatic gearbox. The engine returns fuel economy in the low 20’s with a full load which is impressive for such a capable vehicle.
Practicality

Living with it
The tipper is controlled via wander lead while a high-performance, 5 stage hydraulic ram provides quiet, reliable performance. Features like air conditioning, electric windows, Bluetooth and cruise control are all available.
