ID. Buzz at Anthony Motors
The VW ID. Buzz is a brilliantly energetic electric van, built to transport families with uncompromising space and technology. The retro design is inspired by the VW Camper, with two-tone paint and a clean, functional interior with an upright windscreen and digital displays. The rear bench seat slides on rails and you get 1,121-litres of boot space – enough for your biggest adventures. The 77kWh battery is good for 255-258 miles of range and charging from 5-80% takes 30 minutes at 170kW. You can also charge/power other devices thanks to bi-directional charging with Car2X.
Two trim levels are offered – Life and Style. Style gets LED matrix headlights, 20” alloys, 30-colour ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and Multi-flex board (brings the boot space to the height of seats when folded flat). All models have the Digital Cockpit, Discover Pro navigation with a 10” touchscreen, App-Connect, voice control, wireless phone charging, heated front seats, a heated windscreen, 11kW AC charging, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) stop & go, a rear-view camera, Park Assist Plus, Dynamic Road Sign Display and keyless start.
Design
The ID. Buzz puts a smile on your face with its retro design. Choose from seven solid colours and four two-tone colours. Life models have 19” alloys and LED headlights, while Style models have LED Matrix headlights and 20” alloys.
Drive
A van by name only, the ID. Buzz has sharp handling, strong performance, and brilliant refinement. It kicks out 204PS/310Nm of torque with a rear-mounted electric motor. All versions have Lane Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
Practicality
The ID. Buzz has five seats and a 1,121-litre boot with a load compartment cover. Style models add a powered tailgate and a luggage net for securing cargo. Incredibly, the Buzz is only 4.7m long – shorter than most large SUVs.
