The Transporter Kombi seats up to six people while offering 3.8-6.5m3 of load space and a maximum load length of 2,938m. Power comes from a Euro 6d 2.0 TDI engine with 150PS variants offered with a manual or DSG transmission with fuel economy up to 39.8mpg combined. The cabin has a 3+3 seating configuration, and you can specify 250 degree opening rear doors and an electric tailgate. All versions have forward collision warning incl. autonomous emergency braking to increase safety. Trims include Startline and Highline. Startline has cruise control, speed limiter, a 6.5” touchscreen, App-Connect for smartphone integration, and heat insulating glass. Highline adds power-folding door mirrors, air conditioning, a heated front windscreen, Adaptive Cruise Control, 16” alloys, and body-coloured bumpers. You can specify from 2 wheelbases, 2 roof heights and 5 or 6 seats to suit your requirements.
Design
Professional and sleek, the Transporter Kombi is always welcome. Twin sliding side doors make access easy, and all versions have 180-degree rear doors. Highline models have body-coloured bumpers and stylish 16” alloy wheels.
Drive
The 2.0 TDI engine is offered with 110PS or 150PS, offering dependable performance and low running costs. A short turning circle and handy driving aids like cruise control make it a pleasure to drive. The refinement is also excellent.
Practicality
Choose a long or short wheelbase and a standard or high roof with load volumes of 3.8-6.5m3. Tow a braked trailer up to 2,200kg and carry an additional 100kg with a roof rack. No other kombi van offers such amazing versatility.
Living with it
Highline models have front and rear parking sensors, Adaptive Cruise Control, air conditioning and a heated windscreen to make life easier. You also get armrests for both front seats and privacy glass from the B-pillar.
