All-Electric E-Transit

All–electric. Zero compromise. All-Electric Ford E-Transit is our first all-electric commercial vehicle.

A 400-volt battery with 68 kWh of usable power does all the hard work, so you’ll never have to worry about low-emission zones again.

The E-Transit battery delivers an impressive range of up to 166-196 miles (WLTP test results. 196-mile WLTP Overall Range reflects a combined driving cycle and 166-mile WLTP Extra High range reflects motorway driving)* on a full charge. Use our new range calculator to help estimate how far you can travel depending on your driving conditions. Try our Range Calculator.

Available in two height and three length variations, the E-Transit will offer up to 15.1 cubic metres of cargo space††. In fact, there are 25 different configurations, so whatever your requirements, there’s an E-Transit to suit your business.

Working with our partners, we can help install all your charging hardware and software. With a charging point on your premises, you can recharge your E-Transit from 0 – 100% in around 8 hours*

Сharging your E-Transit at a public charging station is effortless. The BlueOvalᵀᴹ Charging Network has over 21,000 charging points across the UK, with providers such as IONITY and BP Pulse.

Just plug your E-Transit into the mains for a simple way to recharge. Alternatively, install an EV Home Charger for greater convenience, faster charging times, and to make sure your E-Transit is ready when you are.

SYNC 4‡‡ is a cloud-connected infotainment system, with advanced route planning and conversational voice recognition. Cloud connectivity enables Ford Power-Up Software Updates to ensure your E-Transit is always evolving. It also comes with wireless smartphone integration, a new 12” touchscreen, plus a whole lot more.

Operate a fleet of more than 5 vehicles? Ford Telematics  can help maximise productivity and minimise vehicle downtime. Powerful data-driven insights let you understand the daily operations of your fleet. You can quickly view vehicle health status and improve productivity by promptly resolving any identified issues requiring attention**

Whether you work with one vehicle or manage up to five, FordPass Pro gives you the tools to keep them healthy, secure, and running smoothly. The free app lets you view your vehicle’s location and health status, remotely lock or unlock the doors, manage recharging schedules and so much more†††

Use the FordPass Pro app on your phone to set your preferred cabin temperature and activate the climate control from your home or office. Your E-Transit will be pre-conditioned and waiting for you when it’s time to get behind the wheel.

E-Transit lets you power your tools wherever work takes you. Available as an optional extra, Pro Power Onboard delivers 2.3 kW of power without requiring a generator. So, you can plug your drills, saws, laptops, and most hand tools into the onboard socket and get to work.

The rear suspension of the E-Transit has been redesigned to maximise carrying capacity and improve performance. You can carry up to 1,711 kg‡ of cargo, and the heavy duty independent rear suspension will improve handling and traction in both laden and unladen conditions.

The intelligently designed battery sits underneath the load floor to maximise cargo space. The E-Transit comes in a choice of five bodystyle configurations, so you’ll have between 9.5 and 15.1 m3 of loadspace††.

If you often work in busy cities, the all-electric E-Transit is perfect for the job. With zero emissions while driving, you’ll be allowed unhindered access to city centres and other low-emission zones.

Tailor how your E-Transit drives with 3 Selectable Drive Modes. Each one adjusts various settings to optimise performance for the conditions. Normal is for everyday driving; Slippery improves handling in wet or icy conditions; and Eco helps you to get the most from the battery.

Eco Mode makes your remaining battery power go further. The system limits the top speed, reduces the acceleration rate, and uses less power for climate control. To maximise your E-Transit’s range and get the most from the battery, activate L-Mode to increase the rate at which your battery recharges when you apply the brakes.

Rotary Gear Shifter gives you complete control of the advanced transmission, allowing you to select gears with a simple twist of the dial. Replacing the conventional gear leaver also frees up space for a cleaner, more spacious interior.

The E-Transit’s parking brake frees up space in the cabin and is easier to apply. To apply the brake, just pull the switch on the dashboard towards you.

A grant of up to £5,000‡‡‡ is available for both N1 and N2 through the government’s incentive scheme for new all-electric commercial vehicles, including the E-Transit. You don't need to do anything to receive the grant, your dealer will handle all the paperwork for you.

Switching to an E-Transit lets your business take advantage of cheaper vehicle running costs. Recharging costs significantly less than refuelling, and if you charge your E-Transit at home or work, rather than in public, the costs will be even lower. Especially if you take advantage of reduced energy tariffs overnight***.

Enjoy a reduction of up to 40%¹ on the service cost of ownership. With fewer moving parts, all-electric commercial vehicles typically cost less to service than a diesel van. This helps minimise vehicle downtime and increases your business’s productivity.

The E-Transit is covered by a base warranty of 3 years/100,000 miles.  An additional 8 year/100,000 miles battery warranty and a 12-year anti-perforation warranty.

For outstanding safety systems designed to protect you and other road users, Ford E-Transit has been awarded the Euro NCAP Gold Award, by Europe’s leading independent safety organisation, Euro NCAP.

Keep an eye on safety via the E-Transit’s 360 Camera, displaying the world around you through the 12” centre screen. Together with Reverse Brake Assist, it makes backing up both safer and easier.

This smart system works together with 360 Camera² to alert you to objects in your path when reversing. If you haven’t spotted the problem, E-Transit can brake automatically, if needed.

E-Transit monitors for other vehicles entering your blind spot as you begin to change lanes. If you don’t respond to an initial warning, the system gently steers you safely back in lane.
